The largest furniture fair in Europe, held in Cologne from 1 to 3 September, closes yet another year with a very positive balance: more than 40,000 trade visitors, senior officials and influential people from 124 countries.
This success has also been transferred to our presence at the Fair.
An edition in which we have welcomed customers from 39 countries and have surpassed the number of contacts and visits to those of 2018. We can therefore say that our potential in the international market is clear.
Spoga-Gafa is a key date in Sp-Berner’s calendar as it is a major event, where we meet customers from all over Europe, present the latest novelties and make new contacts.
The magnitude of the event held in the German city becomes tangible with the participation in it: a total of 2,281 exhibitors from 67 countries, 86% of the total being foreigners. Among the participating companies, 330 came from Germany and 1,951 from abroad..
A leap in quality for Shaf
In this 46th edition of Spoga-Gafa we have confirmed and consolidated the leap in quality and the interest aroused by our Shaf furniture brand internationally.
Why is this? Because the great reception caused by Sets Nova, Miami anthracite and the new Alaska Table, demonstrates once again, that our efforts to work with recycled plastic without losing sight of trends, innovation and customer needs, is our sure bet for the future.
The exhaustive design and research work to improve our furniture has become palpable at the Fair.

The redesign of Shaf’s logo has also been a step forward for the brand. For this reason, we wanted to take this opportunity to present this new identity exclusively.
This work has contributed to Shaf’s strengthening and undertaking the path of consolidating itself as a reference brand in the furniture sector made from recycled plastic. In addition, it gives our furniture category a strong personality with its own values that make it speak for itself.

The design of the stand was made with the aim of transmitting our empathy with the environment. Sustainable inspiration through colours and materials conveyed the same philosophy with which we work Shaf’s articles.
After the event and after taking stock, we can safely say that Sp-Berner’s attendance at Spoga-Gafa 2019 has been a great success..
